Artist Statement

- I have always liked to colour. I enjoy the transformation of blank space into something vibrant, perhaps emotive. I like to explore the forms of things I see every day, things I have studied since I was a child, like a house, a tree, a telephone pole with wires or the moon. I daub paint on the canvas with intention and curiosity. Like life I guess, a little control, and a little letting go. What I hope my work inspires, is a small sense of joy and a fueled passion for play.
